On Friday, each year group presented their STEM project to the rest of the school with real success. It was clear that each class had had a fantastic time linking science, technology, engineering and mathematics together to answer a big question inspired from the Bible.

We had a wonderful service this morning, thinking about the Easter story and the sacrifice Jesus made. We thanked God for this and understood how his message can be used all over the world to help those most in need.

This week for Faith week we have been celebrating Judaism. Jeremy came in to visit us, he brought in clothing that Jewish people wear when praying, these included the Kippah and Tallit.

We also discussed the simularities and differences between Jewish and Christian beliefs and routines.

Today, Y6 went to church partnered up with their special friends from Reception. The service was all about the birth of Jesus. We heard Bible readings, sang Christmas Carols, watched videos and said prayers.

Last week Key Stage 1 had a special assembly all about how to be safe near canals and rivers.

EYFS Christmas Production

Humph the grumpy camel normally shows not the slightest interest in anything. However, to everyone's surprise and delight, when he meets the new-born King he just can't contain his excitement and joy!

We enjoyed learning some new songs and their actions. Please have a browse through the photos taken from our performance on Wednesday!

This term we have been reading and enjoying the story 'The Naughty Bus', so we took the children on a trip to a bus depot. Reception got the chance to have a journey on the bus, go through a bus wash and learn about safety on buses. The children had a fantastic day....... here are some pictures!

Last week in Reception, the children had a visit from Touchstones. They were able to learn all about plants and watch a Jack and the beanstalk puppet show. The children really enjoyed their workshop and were able to make their own flowers.

Last week in Reception it was RH's turn to perform in the class assembly. For this assembly the children looked at forgiveness and what it means to forgive. The children really enjoyed looking at how the three bears needed to forgive Goldilocks for all her actions. But, Goldilocks needed to say sorry to the bears.
