St Peter's Pebbles
Here at St Peter's Church of England Primary School, some of the Year 6 pupils have a very important job. Every break time, and lunch time, our Year 6 pupils display the Christian Values of 'Friendship' and 'Compassion' towards children in the playground who may be feeling lonely or finding it difficult to join in with their friends.
Jesus said to Peter, "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church..." Matthew 16:18. We believe, that through teaching all of the Christian Values, these children are 'small rocks' which will support Jesus' teachings - they are St Peter's Pebbles.
They are a friend to all who need it - for we believe that "...if one falls down, his friend can help him up..." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.

The Pebbles’ Promise
We promise to care for others, help others be a good friend, keep playground equipment safe and organised, and work together to create a happy playground
