Picture News
We often share and compare our experiences and provide our children with a window to the world. This is done on a weekly basis through 'Picture News'. This is located in the school hall, where a current topic in the news is discussed with a though provoking question that children can respond to on Post-It notes. A lot of thetime the children will look at the injustice behind these news stories and think about how they can be advocates for change - often resulting in charity work. As well as this, each week the news story is linked with one of the British Values that is also displayed with the Picture News so the children have a greater understanding of these important values. (Please see below for the weekly 'Picture News' updates).
