Jesus, who was Jewish, was celebrating The Passover with his disciples. They also had bread and wine. Jesus told them that the wine represents his blood and the bread represents his body and that in drinking and eating these things, they should remember him. 6H Science - January 2020, by Miss Hulse

Date: 21st Jan 2020 @ 5:27pm

Year 6 carried out an experiment today, to understand the process of diffusion and osmosis.

The children added water to Jelly Sweets and recorded as the size of the sweets increased. The children understood that once broken down, the nutrients within food is absorbed through the walls of our intestines into the blood in a process called diffusion. Water doesn’t need breaking down, it simply moves between membranes in the body to arrive in the correct place, again via our blood through a diffusion process called osmosis.
