Bread Baking 5H!, by Miss Healey
Date: 28th Mar 2025 @ 2:37pm
Year 5 have had a very exciting week this week! They have, over the course of several weeks, designed their own bread for a specific purpose. This week was baking week! The children used a lot of independence to select their own ingredients, weigh them out, knead the dough and shape their designs. The bread came out wonderfully and smelled amazing! While it was still warm from the oven, the children taste-tested their creations (with some very mixed reactions!) I am very proud of their creations and they have all got a piece to take home so I'm sure families will be too!

Each child represented their school brilliantly and the Dean of Rochdale was so impressed with the way the children conducted themselves during the presentation.
