Collective Worship with Stephen Watkinson - September 2018, by Miss Hulse

Date: 27th Sep 2018 @ 9:26am

6H had a very moving Collective Worship with Stephen Watkinson, the children thought about all of the reason they might complain. We then looked at the story of Moses and how God send manna for the people to eat when they were starving. We thought about the people's reaction to this and decided that instead of complaining, the people should have been grateful.

We then reflect upon are complains at the start and realised we should not complain but be grateful for all we have and share what we have for example, donating to the Harvest Collection.

The bible reading focus was around the Old Testament reading from Exodus where Moses led the slaves from Egypt to receive the ten commandments from God on Mount Sinai.
