WOW Church Synod Group at St John's Thornham

Our WOW (Watch Our World) Church Synod Group met at St John's Thornham today for a meeting to discuss plastic use in our churches.  Together, we have created a questionnaire to be sent to all the churches in Rochdale to see what type and how much plastic is used so that we can make a plan to make our diocese a more environmentally friendly place!  Each school is also going to create an environmentally friendly Christmas decoration with instructions to send out on our WOW Church Newsletter in November.  Watch this space to see St Peter's Christmas design in a few weeks' time!
