Our Blackpool Coastlines and Sealife trip
Lesson: Geography
Class: Year 3B Year: 2021 - 2022
What an amazing day the children had on Friday 20th May 2022 when we went to Blackpool to look at the coastlines and the underwater sealife that live there. which linked to our Geography topic about coastlines. The children were amazed to know that so many sealife creatures could inhabit the sea at one given time. They learnt that sharks never went to sleep and were always moving. Whilst in the Sealife centre, the children met Phoenix the turtle who at the age of 22 is considered a baby! When we visited the beach and looked at the coastlines, the children were able to pick up some sea shells before the tide came in. We all had a wonderful and memorable day!
