Manchester Museum Trip

Lesson: History

Class: Year 4R Year: 2024 - 2025

We visited Manchester Museum to do an Ancient Egyptian Workshop. In the workshop, we were tasked with finding the most important artefact in the museum out of 18,000! We looked at lots of different artefacts and used our curator skills to choose an artefacts based on its rareity, beauty, story and material. We also got to see a real mummified body and learn all about her life. We also got to walk around the museum and look at all the different exibits from fossils and dinosaurs to animals in the natural world. After a long day, there were lots of sleepy children on the coach!

Who we are

We look to provide a safe, secure, stimulating Christian environment in which all our children feel happy and valued as individuals, and where they can learn and play to the best of their abilities, and therefore reach their full potential.
