Anglo-Saxon Trip to Tatton Park

Lesson: History

Class: Year 4R Year: 2024 - 2025

On Tuesday, we visited Tatton Park for an Anglo-Saxon experience day. We were transported back to the Anglo-Saxon times where we met some local village people. They were kind enough to train us on how to live like Anglo-Saxons and defend ourselves against the Vikings! We had lessons on how to create a shield wall, jewellery making to sell at the market, how to make flour from wheat and deer hunting. After all our lessons, we were able to scare away the Vikings.

The trip ended with lots of sleepy Anglo-Saxons on the coach!
