4M Visit the Jewish Museum

Class 4M at the Jewish Museum

Good afternoon,

On Wednesday 21st September, our class visited the Jewish Museum in Cheetham Hill, Manchester. The children were told anout the Jewish faith and some of the traditions, especially those to do with their Holy Day (Saturday).

Throughout the morning, we learned about religious clothing/items. How Jewish men would dress when praying inside the synagogue. We then shared a traditional story that is told throughout different religions.

I would like to add that being the first trip taken, the children enjoyed themselves and all behaved brilliantly and had many interesting and thought provoking questions.

Please see the gallery from our short visit.
